The Atlantic is getting more active with two areas to watch:
🟡 Disturbance #1: A tropical wave in the central Atlantic has a near 0% chance of development over the next 48 hours and a 20% chance over 7 days. Some gradual development is possible early this week.
🟠 Disturbance #2: Another tropical wave is expected to move off Africa early this week. Conditions could become more favorable for development, with a 40% chance over 7 days.
🌴 For Southeast Texas: Neither system poses an immediate threat to the Texas coast. Both are still well out in the Atlantic, and it’s much too early to discuss specific impacts here.
We’ll continue watching the tropics closely as we move deeper into August.
